If you plan to visit Baracoa, I recommend you the Casa Particular "La Colina". The house is situated directly in the centre of Baracoa and all interesting and historic places of the town you can reach in walking distance. A guarded parking can be organized for your rental car. On the roof-terrace is the Restaurant "Baracoa". From there you have a wonderful view about the colonial Old Town, green Mountains and the blue ocean in the background. There are several comfortable guest-rooms in the house with different sizes and equipment. The rooms are having air-conditioning, bathroom, shower and television. The owner Alberto is a very "charismatic" unusual person, gourmet, cook and entertainer. You will enjoy his companionship and the time in his house. On the roof-terrace you can eat excellent food and enjoy the romantic view to the Old Town and the sea at sunset time. Gastronomic specialties are food from the barbeque, creoles dishes, fresh fish, seafood and special cocktails "al Alberto". By smoking a Cuban
cigar, drinking "Ron Anejo", listening to Cuban music and having interesting conversations with
